The Four Sacred Symbols
By Michael Ragan. The Sacred Symbols of the Tuatha de Danann are reexamined through an objective translation of the Gaelic text. Though we owe a considerable debt to the gaelic scholars of the past century, many were clergy or otherwise strongly influenced by a Christian mind-set. This article examines the subject matter with a more tolerant view and proves faulty many of the accepted translations. Discover the real meaning of the Sword of Nuada, the Spear of Lugh, the Cauldron of Dagda and the Lia Fail.
The Wand
By Michael Ragan. From an historical sense, little seems to have been written about the wand in ancient Ireland. Yet the few clues that do exist, tantalize our curiosity.

Hearth-Fire
By Willow ragan. The two most apparent qualities of fire are that of bringing light and warmth. These two qualities make for an easy association with the Sun. Fire can be seen as a bit of the sun, captured and contained. For early gathering and hunting tribes, fire and the sun may have had more to do with protection, warmth tribal migrations and/or the return of certain animals.
