 eaves welcomes articles concerning research and study into pre-Christian Ireland. To meet our criteria, we offer the following guidelines. Manuscripts should be typewritten in double-spaced format. Author's name, address and phone number must appear in the top right-hand corner of each page. Pages should also be numbered. We also can use articles on 3-½ inch diskette. Please use Microsoft Word in IBM compatible format or text only with linebreaks. Submissions may also be made via e-mail attachments.
Important
Do not send your only copy. Time and expense considerations prohibit return of your material unless you provide a self-addressed envelope with adequate postage.
Type of material we will consider
Leaves is a journal whose main purpose is to explore the culture and religion of pre-Christian Ireland. Thus, we publish only material that deals specifically with Ireland and her people of that time frame or occasional current issues facing our readers.
We strive for academic quality. Therefor, the style of text and footnotes in all articles should conform to recognized standards, such as Handbook for Writers from Merriam Webster or the Manual of Style by the University of Chicago. Sources should be credited and adequate references provided.
We prefer original articles. If you article has already been published or if you are submitting to more than one publisher, please provide details.
All articles remain the property of the author. However, we reserve the right to edit all articles for style, grammar and clarity. We reserve the right to decline use of any article that we feel is inflammatory, derogatory or simply does not fit our genre.
Please provide us with a short biography, using your legal name. If we publish your article, we will use a pen name in the journal if you desire. We will not publish anonymous material.
