Eclipsed letters
  Eclipsed letters are the case where a consonant is eclipsed by another consonant that immediately precedes. Usually eclipses occur when preceded by an article, such as in na mban. The first letter is pronounced only. The eclipsed letter is silent.  
  b is ecliped by m as in mb
  f is ecliped by b as in mb
  d is ecliped by n as in nd
  t is ecliped by d as in dt
  c is ecliped by g as in gc
